You can give your home that high end look with custom cabinets while improving the resale value at the same time. Often times you can make these upgrades without breaking the bank! If your cabinet boxes are in good shape, maybe you can just replace the doors and hardware. But, experts say to be conscious of how much you’re investing versus how much the home is worth! US News and World Report’s personal finance website recently included a quote from David Pekel, president and CEO of Pekel Construction in Milwaukee…he said, “Adding a $75,000 kitchen to a $100,000 house is unlikely to yield $75,000 in value, although it may make you a happy chef.
